Lau Gomez is a Colombian singer, composer, and ethnomusicologist, who travels between Latin American, African, funk, jazz, and neo-soul melodies. Her colorful music represents her passion for travel, the discovery of diverse artistic traditions, and multiculturalism in resonance with contemporary music and today's sounds. She began her first musical steps with the "Nueva Cultura" Foundation at age 4, continuing her music studies in Bogota and her Master's in ethnomusicology and dance anthropology in France, where she currently resides. With her music, like sound paintings, she inspires us to see life from a positive perspective where consciousness, hope, love, mutual aid, and understanding of others are part of these poems-turned-songs, of the message she conveys in her compositions.
